Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst with JD Edwards expertise to partner with stakeholders, translate business needs into JD Edwards solutions, and drive process improvements across manufacturing and distribution processes in Michigan.

The role involves collaboration with GIS, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams, with travel between Shelby Township and Westland locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards
• Experience with manufacturing and/or distribution modules in JD Edwards
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate business needs into practical solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria
• Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing, distribution, inventory, production planning, and supply chain processes and how JD Edwards supports them
• Drive process improvements and measure value through KPIs
• Collaborate with ERP development teams to design practical JD Edwards solutions
• Provide hands‑on training and user support to drive adoption of JD Edwards features
• Lead JD Edwards projects from requirements through implementation, tracking scope, budget, and timelines
• Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and data quality across JD Edwards systems
• Stay current with JD Edwards releases and industry best practices
• Ensure security, compliance, and change management within JD Edwards deployments
• Connect with cross‑functional teams to align technology and business priorities
