Addison Group is seeking an Application Developer to assist in modernizing an inspections application by converting legacy fillable forms into interactive HTML-based forms and supporting overall development efforts. The role is suited for early-career to intermediate developers who enjoy business applications, databases, and user support.

You will work on converting forms, writing JavaScript, and integrating with SQL databases, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure operational

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience developing web applications or internal software solutions.
• Strong experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL databases and writing SQL queries.
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS.
• Experience developing web forms or data collection apps.
• Understanding of relational database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Convert approximately seventy existing fillable PDF forms into interactive HTML-based forms.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript functionality to capture, validate, and process user-entered data.
• Integrate form submissions with SQL databases to store and retrieve inspection information.
• Support PDF generation processes utilizing templating technologies and application data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure forms and workflows reflect operational requirements.
• Assist with development, testing, troubleshooting, and enhancement of internal business applications.
• Support ongoing JavaScript development to keep application delivery on schedule.
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
