Job summary

Tech Partners in Oklahoma City is seeking an Application Developer to join a statewide modernization project that replaces a paper-based inspections process with a centralized web application. You will build a greenfield platform handling data collection, storage, reporting, and document generation.

You will convert PDFs to HTML, implement validation and logic, and integrate with SQL databases while collaborating across teams to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing form validation and conditional logic.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of structured data and database design concepts.
• Experience developing or contributing to a web application or related project.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions.
• Preferred: server-side templating with Jinja; familiarity with Docker and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Convert existing fillable PDF forms into user-friendly HTML forms.
• Implement form validation, conditional logic, calculations, and workflow requirements.
• Design and maintain data collection processes that integrate with SQL databases.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve, filter, and manage application data.
• Collaborate with team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Assist with document generation and PDF output functionality.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
