Job summary

NRI, Inc. is seeking a strong Junior to Intermediate JavaScript/SQL Developer for an in-house agricultural inspections app. You will transform PDF forms into HTML, build robust front-end features, and ensure reliable data storage with SQL.

The project decommissions its legacy platform in Spring 2027, offering a path to contribute from design through rollout. You will collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participate in reviews, and learn

Qualifications

Solid fundamentals in JavaScript and SQL.
Experience translating business requirements into software solutions.
Proficient in building user-facing forms and reports.

Responsibilities

Convert ~70 PDF inspection documents into interactive HTML forms.
Develop clean, maintainable JavaScript for forms, validation, data collection, workflows.
Integrate front-end with SQL-based data storage.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries (T-SQL preferred).
Develop and maintain responsive HTML/CSS interfaces.
Use Jinja/Jinja2 to transform data into PDFs.
Troubleshoot defects and participate in root-cause analysis.
Test and validate across forms, DB ops, and doc generation.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to translate requirements.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, enhancements, and support.
Maintain development docs and workflows.
Learn/use Python, Docker, Jinja, and Git/GitHub as needed.
