CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Java developer to enhance data utilization for a large state-run project. You will aggregate data from multiple sources and design plans for collection, processing, storage, and reporting within enterprise systems.

Strong Java Server Faces experience is required. The team emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and cutting-edge technology in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java web applications using Java Server Faces (JSF).
• 5+ years in Java web UI design and implementation (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• 3+ years integrating Java web apps with SQL databases using Hibernate.
• 3+ years SQL relational database design and coding.
• 5+ years software development in independent and team settings.
• Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs.
• Provide work estimates to project manager and track progress against the plan.
• Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes.
• Transform software designs into high-functioning code in the appropriate language.
• Integrate individual software solutions into higher level systems.
• Use web-based tools to create and advance applications.
• Test code periodically and debug to ensure desirable results.
• Collaborate with business, development, and QA to develop testing and acceptance procedures.
• Perform upgrades to improve security and efficiency of software and systems.
• Collaborate with business analyst to provide training, knowledge transfer, and user support documentation.
