Golden Technology is seeking a technical leader to manage Agile engineering teams, drive software delivery, and stay hands‑on with the Java stack in Cary, NC. You will combine people leadership, project execution, and technical involvement to ensure successful product outcomes.

The role emphasizes project planning, execution, and cross‑functional collaboration with product managers and business analysts. Prior PMP/Agile certifications are preferred, with a 10–15% coding component to stay current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven years software development experience.
• Two years of software development management/team lead experience.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred (must earn in first 12 months of employment).
• Agile certification (PMI or Scrum Alliance) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and develop project plans; budget, issues and risks, action items, status reports.
• Lead design, development, integration and support of software products and systems; ensure timely delivery.
• Lead teams to be more T‑shaped; manage risks and resolve issues across projects.
• Spend 10-15% of time programming to stay hands‑on with tech stack and products.
• Oversee performance, development, and hiring of team members; conduct regular evaluations.
