Job summary

TIAA is seeking a Tech Lead to provide technical leadership across the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of technology-enabled applications and services. You will guide the software design phases, manage development schedules, and ensure high-quality solutions meet specifications.

You will lead a team of developers in production environments, mentor staff, and drive end-to-end delivery in a collaborative, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of IT software development experience; 7 years preferred.
• Experience leading a team of developers and delivering production-grade software.

Responsibilities

• Understand the platform technical architecture and business roadmap and ensure alignment with roadmap.
• Design and develop technical solutions for new software development and enhancements.
• Coordinate coding and unit testing phases and facilitate code reviews.
• Develop and contribute to domain solutions and execute changes per implementation plan.
• Communicate project status and technical updates to stakeholders with recommended actions.
• Coordinate delivery timelines with the team, including quality and timeliness metrics.
• Coach, mentor and delegate work to lower level professionals.
• Participate actively in code development.
