Wise Skulls LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a hands-on Java + SRE Engineer with strong Java/Spring Boot development, production support, observability, and troubleshooting experience, plus working knowledge of Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools.

You will tackle incidents, implement reliable deployments on Kubernetes/OpenShift, monitor logs with Splunk and Elasticsearch/Kibana, and automate tasks with scripting.

Competenze

• Hands-on Java/J2EE with Spring Boot and REST microservices.
• Experience with production support, incident management and RCA.
• Log analysis using Splunk and Elasticsearch/Kibana; create dashboards and alerts.
• Knowledge of SLA/SLOs, reliability, and change management.
• Experience deploying on Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux environments.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and scripting for automation.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
• Some exposure to prompt engineering and AI agents is a plus.

Hiring: Java + SRE Engineer with AI Knowledge | Phoenix, AZ | 100% Onsite

We're looking for a hands-on Java + SRE Engineer with strong Java/Spring Boot development, production support, observability, and troubleshooting experience, along with working knowledge of Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of Extension)

Work Authorization: USC & GC Candidates Only

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
• Production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Experience with Splunk, Elasticsearch/Kibana, log analysis, dashboards, and alerts
• Knowledge of SLA/SLOs, application reliability, and problem/change management
• Experience supporting applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux environments
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployments, networking, and application connectivity
• Scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot
• Ability to use AI for debugging, code development, log analysis, testing, and documentation
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agents is a plus
