Qualifications

• 7 years of hands-on Java and Apache Spark Big Data development experience.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Experience building and optimizing large-scale distributed data processing systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, RDBMS, and Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Exposure to microservices and containerization; Docker/Kubernetes preferred.
• Databricks experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-powered solutions/AI agents is a plus.

• Design and develop scalable highperformance applications using Java and Apache Spark
• Translate business requirements into clean efficient and reliable technical solutions
• Write modular testable and maintainable code following OOP principles and design patterns
• Continuously refactor and optimize applications for performance scalability and maintainability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data processing and performance issues
• Perform and participate in code reviews promoting engineering best practices
• Collaborate with architects product owners DevOps and Agile teams for highquality delivery
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement

Qualifications

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 80,000 - 90,000 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
