Job summary

Star Storage is seeking a passionate Developer to join our Product Engineering team. The Solution Developer will design and develop software components and provide Level 3 support for our software solutions.

The role emphasizes translating business requirements into technical solutions, building integrations using Star Storage APIs, and delivering secure, scalable, and well-documented code across project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• At least 3 years of development experience using Java/J2EE.
• Experience with APIs (RESTful/SOAP) and 3rd party integrations.
• Experience with Git.

Responsibilities

• Assist business analyst by translating requirements into technical tasks.
• Design and develop software components and integrations using Star Storage APIs.
• Ensure non-functional requirements like security, scalability, and performance are met.
• Participate in all phases of software development per specs.
• Write technical documentation (install/config guides, etc.).
• Provide Level 3 support for software solutions.
