Accesa, a leading technology company with a global presence, is seeking a senior backend engineer to design scalable Java-based applications and microservices. You will work closely with DevOps, leverage Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms to ensure robust, maintainable systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend Java development experience.
• Strong Spring Boot and ecosystem proficiency.
• Experience designing RESTful microservices and messaging with Kafka.
• SQL and relational databases with performance focus.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for deployments.
• CI/CD with Jenkins; Git and Agile practices.
• Cloud platform experience (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Node.js and frontend tooling is a plus.
• Excellent English communication; German a plus.

Design scalable solutions: Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices with a focus on performance and reliability. Deliver high-quality code: Implement applications following best practices in clean code, testing, and performance optimization. Support modern deployment practices: Work closely with DevOps to containerize and deploy applications and integrate CI/CD pipelines. Leverage event-driven architecture: Use events to build robust, asynchronous systems that support scalability and decoupled services. Optimize data interactions: Design and maintain efficient relational database integrations that ensure data integrity and system responsiveness. Contribute to strong engineering standards: Engage in architectural discussions, perform code reviews, and promote best practices. Leverage AI code companions: Utilize hands-on AI code companions and intelligent development tools to enhance productivity, accelerate development cycles, and maintain code quality standards while staying current with modern development practices. Mentor and grow the team: Provide guidance to junior developers and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

5+ years of experience in backend software development using Java 8 or above Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and the Spring framework ecosystem Strong proficiency with Angular 19 Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful microservices Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries and working with databases Working knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, message-driven systems, and distributed systems Good understanding of Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for automated build and deployment Experience with Git and Agile development practices Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes. Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.
