Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to support a Java-focused software development effort in an Agile environment.

The role offers exposure to Quarkus and PrimeFaces, with opportunities to contribute across design, development, installation, testing, and quality activities to meet mission requirements. The ideal candidate will have a TS/SCI clearance, seven years of software engineering experience, and a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs of similar scope and complexity.
Experience designing or implementing complex algorithms with timing, resource, or interface constraints.
Experience performing software quality control or peer review activities.
Experience supporting software installation, integration, and operational validation.
Experience working with customers or technical stakeholders to derive and refine software requirements.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Java.
Participate in Agile software development activities including requirements analysis, task planning, implementation, testing, and status tracking.
Design and implement complex algorithms while adhering to timing, resource, and interface constraints.
Perform quality control reviews of software products developed by the team.
Collaborate with team members and the customer to derive software requirements and understand project limitations.
