Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a software engineer with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph for a full-time, on-site role in Maryland.

The ideal candidate will contribute to a Java-based development effort, participate in Agile processes, and gain experience with Quarkus and PrimeFaces. The position requires 7 years of software engineering experience or equivalent, and a technical Bachelor's degree (or 4 additional years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree).

Responsibilities

• Develop software using Java as the primary language.
• Apply Agile methods to manage software activities and requirements.
• Explore Java technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces.
• Design or implement complex algorithms with timing and resource constraints.
• Coordinate software installation and monitor system performance.
