Uline is actively seeking a Java Software Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust Java applications in a collaborative tech environment.

Responsibilities include code reviews, performance optimization, and contributing to architectural discussions while mentoring peers. The role is on-site in Wisconsin and comes with strong health, retirement, and tuition assistance benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on Java development with a strong Spring background.
• Extensive experience with REST, microservices, Git, JPA, SQL, JSON, SOAP, XML.
• Working knowledge of caching, service discovery, CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
• Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.

Responsibilities

• Craft, test and deploy robust Java applications aligned with business needs using industry-leading technologies and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance and ensure application responsiveness maintaining top-notch quality.
• Assist in architectural design reviews and project planning, lending insights for strategic advancements.
• Guide and mentor fellow developers, exhibiting leadership in cross-functional development practices.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure consistent processes and timely deliverables.
