The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $111,000 - $170,200 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What you Will do in This Role:

• Build elegant solutions for some of the most complex material handling and logistics projects in the world
• Deliver large, impactful, and meaningful enterprise projects while working in a small, forward-thinking, and flexible start-up environment
• Guide very complex design, maintenance, improvement, testing, implementation, and support of software.
• Lead the development of software test requirements for highly complex modules under development, and implement highly complex test specifications.
• Review customers' standards, specifications, and other documentation to resolve software engineering requirements.
• Develop presentations of technical findings and developments.
• Guide the software quality process through the execution of very complex module, subsystem, and system test procedures.
• Coach and mentor experienced developers; demonstrate leadership skills and role model qualities.
• Contribute to improving internal processes to enhance consistency, efficiency, and quality.
• Preempt potential problems and provide effective solutions by applying concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes.
• Apply original thinking in solving problems using principles, theories, and concepts.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge in subject areas of specialization or multiple teams to complete complex assignments successfully.
• Serve as a point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge in your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts.
• Travel across North America to customer sites to validate system functionality and testing (approximately 20%).

What We are Looking For:

• BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related Engineering Degree
• 8-10+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of automation or material handling industry experience
• Advanced knowledge of at least 2 object-oriented languages, including Java EE
• Proficiency in at least 1 other programming language
• Intermediate knowledge of at least 2 operating systems
• 2 industry-standard certifications
• Advanced knowledge of at least 1 Dematic Software Application (Internal)
