Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Software Developer, Journeyman to advance mission-critical Navy aircraft systems. You will build backend services and microservices in Java using Spring; participate in design, code reviews, testing, and documentation.

You will collaborate with product teams and ensure scalable, robust software for demanding defense applications. Required five years of Java experience, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, PostgreSQL, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years Java software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate (JPA).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services; familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQL.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full software development lifecycle activities: requirements, design, development, integration, and test.
• Design and architect scalable software systems; ensure performance.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews; implement tests to ensure quality.
