Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a software engineer to develop features for core product offerings. You will manage code with Git, write automated tests, and work on Java Web Services using Spring Boot.

The role involves SQL data querying, Jira-based sprint tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree and US work eligibility are required; hybrid work in major cities may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• No prior work experience required.
• Proficient with Git source control.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of RESTful service design.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
• Background and/or drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and capabilities to enhance Early Warning core product offerings.
• Manage source code using Git.
• Query platform data using SQL-based DBs.
• Work on Java Web Services using Spring Boot.
• Track sprint work in Jira and document decisions in Confluence.
• Build automated tests integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Submit pull requests and incorporate review feedback.
• Troubleshoot routine to moderately complex bugs.
• Support risk management and data security.
