Job summary

TwinStream Limited is seeking a Java Software Engineer for a 3-month rolling contract outside IR35. This remote role may require occasional travel to the Bristol office in the future.

You will join an agile team building components of a cross-domain security system and participate in the full software development lifecycle. You will contribute by writing high-quality Java code, implementing tests, and helping deploy and maintain pipelines with DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software with Java and related tech in agile teams.
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD and DevOps culture.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle from design to delivery.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

About the role:

TwinStreamsoftware engineers(Java)develop components of a cross-domain security system within an agile development team. They are involved in the entire software development lifecycle, which includes understanding the need for change, software design, coding, testing, delivery, and support. ATwinStreamsoftware engineer is not just a coder; theycomprehendthe business and domain challenges andutilizetheir technical skills to address those issues.
