Akkodis is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a Direct Hire role located in Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation is open for a strong candidate with a solid background in financial services.

The ideal candidate has extensive Java/Spring Boot experience and Azure cloud expertise, plus familiarity with AWS/GCP and regulated environments. The position offers a salary range of $140,000 to $150,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefits such as 401(k) with match, medical, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java & Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
• Experience with performance optimization & system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Strong backend development experience with Java (21+)
• Expertise in Spring Boot (3.5 preferred)
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (primary cloud platform)
• Exposure to AWS or GCP is a plus
• Experience working with Oracle databases
• Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks is a plus
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., FedRAMP or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Secure coding practices, Encryption (symmetric vs. asymmetric), System‑level security design & trade‑offs
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools in development workflows, including Prompt engineering for code generation, Automated test creation & validation and Debugging and reviewing AI‑generated code

Salary Range: $140,000/yearly to $150,000/yearly (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
