Job summary

Coltech is seeking an experienced Java / Full-Stack Engineer to join a major automotive client on an exciting new project in Detroit. This role involves building and integrating APIs, supporting modern Java applications, and contributing to cloud-based technology initiatives.

Hybrid work arrangement: four days on-site, typically remote Fridays, with an initial 3‑month contract and strong potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with APIGEE 2.0 API Gateway, including API development and integration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices and enterprise application development.
• Experience working in Agile engineering teams.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience is highly desirable.

Rate: $60–$70 per hour
