Job summary

STG is seeking a Full-Stack Java Developer with GCP and AI experience to join our Dearborn, MI team. The role emphasizes end-to-end software delivery, from design through deployment, and requires strong Java, Angular, and REST API skills. Knowledge of GCP, PCF, Docker/Kubernetes, and ML tooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with full-stack Java technologies and modern UI/UX.
• 3+ years IT experience; 2+ years in Angular and Spring Boot.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins; API design and consumption.
• RESTful integration, Webservices, and data exchange knowledge.
• GCP and 3DEXPERIENCE/PCF exposure considered a plus.
• MLOps cycle (data) – Python, pandas, numpy, TensorFlow, scikit-learn.
• Docker/Kubernetes for containerized apps; CI/CD via Jenkins/Tekton.

Title: Full-Stack Java Developer with GCP & AI Experience (only W2 Position – No C2C Accepted)

Description

STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Full-Stack Java Developer with GCP & AI Experience.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Position Description

Software Engineer position within IT Product team responsible for full cycle systems development activities including software design, development, and deployment activities to launch new systems and enhance existing systems. This position is also expected to participate in integration and systems testing.

Experience Required

• This position requires hands-on experience using full-stack Java technologies.
• 3+ years of progressive IT experience with minimum
• 2 years of experience in Primary technical skills (Angular and Spring Boot)
• Experience with software delivery tools (GitHub, Jenkins)
• Experience developing in both software tiers - front-end, back end and database queries
• Experience integration planning and deliverables (Webservices, API, etc.)
• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform integration using REST APIs, including API design, consumption, authentication, data exchange, and troubleshooting integration.
• Knowledge and experience using Agile methodology
• Experience or knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will be considered a plus.
• Should be able to work on all aspects of the MLOps cycle (data) extraction, analysis, model training, deployment, re-training). Should have good business understanding to formulate new use cases. Knowledge of Python and packages like pandas, numpy, scipy, TensorFlow, scikit-learn is a must.
• Should be proficient with Git (GitHub), handle code merges for all developers and be able to resolve merge conflicts. Should be aware of Docker/Kubernetes for containerization of applications, and Jenkins/Tekton to create pipelines.
• Cloud Development: Should have some expertise with working on GCP and be able to integrate tools like GCS, BigQuery and DataFlow into existing workflows. Should be aware of configuring infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines using Terraform. Required Skills/Experience
• Database Secondary Technical Skills: Splunk, Dynatrace Preferred Skills / Experience
• Experience working in cross functional global team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestones.
• Strong written, verbal communication and collaboration skills. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
