Callibrity Software Developer Job Description
Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is remote but requires working on U.S. Eastern or Central Time hours. Preference is given to candidates in Midwestern and Eastern/Southeastern U.S. cities. Non-U.S. candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted advisors and thought leaders in the tech industry.
- Understand big picture business problems and take on leadership roles.
- Mentor and upskill peers and client teams.
- Solve diverse problems with appropriate solutions.
- Communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Identify challenges proactively and recommend solutions.
- Demonstrate mastery of software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, TDD, CI/CD, Test Automation) and teach others.
- Explore emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, and IoT.
- Collaborate closely across roles and teams.
- Build trust with clients as a reliable team member.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack enterprise Java development experience.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Bootstrap, Gradle/Maven, SQL, JavaScript frameworks, Angular, React, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Kafka and Jenkins is a plus.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform preferred.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud application development is advantageous.
- Professional experience in IT and/or Consulting.
- Successful completion of Callibrity's CoderPad and Code Pairing Challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, accountability, passion for learning, and a collaborative mindset.

- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
