Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 focused on automated testing within its Financial Services unit. The role emphasizes contributing to SDLC from requirements to implementation, building automated test suites, and integrating tests into CI/CD, while collaborating across business analysts, developers, and QA teams.

The position requires strong Java, Selenium, and Playwright TS skills, with experience in Agile environments and test-automation framework maintenance.

Qualifications

• Core Java, Playwright TypeScript and Selenium test automation experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify bugs and performance issues.
• Maintain and enhance the automation framework for scalability and reusability.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Document test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA Or other test management tools
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to QA best practices.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects
