Job summary

Infosys Irvine is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to automation initiatives, document requirements, design, code, and coordinate testing for banking and financial services projects. You will work across the full SDLC with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners, architects, and QA, leveraging Selenium, Playwright, Python, SQL, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale automation frameworks using Selenium - Python, PyTest, and Pandas.
• Experience automating ETL, API, data contract, and database validation processes using Python and Pandas.
• Experience developing automated reporting dashboards for execution insights and quality metrics.
• Experience collaborating with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and quality engineering teams.
• Experience in Agile methodology, Jira, test case design, test execution, and defect documentation.
• Experience leading testing deliverables and working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
• Experience creating integration test strategy and test plans.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and supporting UAT testing.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright - Javascript, Java, Python, and API automation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects
