Set of X is seeking a Java Software Engineer with Python experience to design, develop, and optimize complex software systems for our government contracting initiatives. The role requires analyzing requirements, delivering high-performance solutions, and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle.

Candidates must have strong Java and Python skills, experience debugging and integrating software, and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Four years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze user and system requirements to define software design and performance standards
• Design, develop, test, and modify Java- and Python-based software applications
• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing software for performance and reliability
• Integrate software into new or existing systems and operating environments
• Develop and implement algorithms and database queries to meet functional requirements
• Produce and review technical documentation for software and systems
• Support testing activities and assist in the development of test procedures
• Provide input on software development standards and process improvements
• Serve as a technical lead when required, supporting team coordination and delivery
