Set of X is looking for a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems. This role requires strong programming skills in C, C++, C#, Java, and Python, along with experience in Windows and UNIX/Linux environments. The ideal candidate will contribute to system design and has a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant experience or 11 years without a degree.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems.
• Design, code, test, and debug software.
• Contribute to system design decisions.
• Develop applications in various programming languages.
• Implement effective solutions and improve development processes.

Skills

Experience developing and maintaining complex software systems

Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python)

Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux development environments

Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Artifactory)

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo)

Ability to analyze requirements into effective software solutions

Experience debugging, testing, and integrating software components

Knowledge of database design, queries, and data repositories

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

High School diploma with 11 years of experience
