Job summary

Infosys Limited in the United States seeks a Technology Project Lead 1 to guide complex telecom OSS/BSS delivery programs. You’ll drive architecture decisions, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure client requirements shape the SDLC across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud-native design, and hands‑on work with Java/Spring, Angular/React front‑ends, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver scalable, secure enterprise telecom solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Telecom OSS domain expertise with hands-on experience in service fulfillment, service assurance, inventory, order management and provisioning.
• Full Stack app architecture and development experience using Angular/React and Java/Spring Boot.
• RESTful API design and development and microservices-based enterprise apps.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Project Lead 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating smooth communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews
• Support the technical team in following SDLC processes, ensuring all deliverables align with client requirements and specifications
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations
• Contribute to the creation of project budgets that aligns with the scope, strategy, and key deliverables
• Identify scope alterations and new client requests, support in effort estimation, obtaining necessary approvals and securing client sign-offs

Required Skill and Experience

• Strong Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) domain expertise with hands-on experience in service fulfillment, service assurance, inventory management, order management, and network provisioning.
• Full Stack application architecture and development experience using:
• Frontend: Angular and/or React
• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• RESTful API design and development
• Experience designing and implementing microservices-based enterprise applications.
• Expertise in Java ecosystem, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL technologies.
• Strong understanding of OSS integrations, middleware, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience leading solution architecture, technical design reviews, and development teams.
• Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs and telecom industry standards.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, client-facing communication, and technical leadership capabilities.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience with BSS/OSS transformation programs for Tier-1 telecom providers.
• Exposure to Telecom technologies such as:
• Fiber Networks
• Mobile (4G/5G)
• IP/MPLS Networks
• SDN/NFV
• Knowledge of OSS platforms such as:
• Netcracker
• Amdocs
• Nokia
• Ericsson OSS
• ServiceNow Telecom modules
• Experience with cloud platforms:
• AWS
• Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience implementing observability solutions using Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-streaming platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled network operations, predictive maintenance, and network automation initiatives.
• DevSecOps and security architecture experience.
• TOGAF, SAFe, AWS/Azure Architect, or TM Forum certifications.
• Experience with offshore/onshore team leadership and large-scale digital transformation programs.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
