Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking a talented Java developer to build scalable Spring Boot microservices and cloud-native architectures. You will own the development lifecycle from design to optimization, and contribute to AI integration using RAG pipelines with Spring AI and LangChain4j.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, testing, code reviews, and documentation, with exposure to databases and modern web technologies. On-site role in the US market.

Qualifications

• Decent understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Basic programming skills using object-oriented programming (OOP) languages with in-depth knowledge of common APIs and data structures like Collections, Maps, lists, Sets, etc.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), basic SQL query language skills

Responsibilities

• Full stack development of scalable web services.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure quality.
• Conduct testing for application reliability and performance.
• Participate in Agile Scrum and own the full development lifecycle.
• Create technical documentation for applications, APIs, and deployment procedures.
• Ship to production: APIs, monitoring/observability, CI/CD, and security best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest Java technologies.
• AI integration: implement RAG pipelines using Spring AI and LangChain4j.
