Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. in Connecticut seeks a talented Java developer to build scalable, production-ready Spring Boot microservices. You will own the development lifecycle, designing, implementing, testing, and optimizing in a cloud-native environment.

You will work on AI integration using RAG pipelines and stay current with Java technologies, frameworks, and databases while collaborating within an Agile team. This role requires a Master’s in CS and 0–1 year Java experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS required.
• 0–1 year of practical Java coding experience.
• Experience with Spring, Maven, React.js, HTML, CSS.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts and Spring AI or LangChain4j.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development of scalable Spring Boot microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and ensure quality.
• Conduct testing and code reviews.
• Own the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and deployment procedures.
• Ship to production: APIs, monitoring, CI/CD, security best practices.
• Stay up to date with Java technologies and related tools.
• Implement RAG pipelines using AI technologies.
