Job summary

BeaconFire Inc., based in Central NJ, is seeking a talented Java developer to build scalable Spring Boot microservices, implement AI-powered agents, and work with cloud-native architectures.

You will own the development lifecycle from design to deployment, collaborate in an Agile team, and ensure code quality, testing, and documentation, with pay range $65,000-$80,000 per year and visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Basic programming skills in OOP with knowledge of APIs and data structures.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL basics.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring-based development.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient Java code with maintainability.
• Develop scalable Spring Boot microservices and APIs.
• Conduct testing to ensure reliability and performance.
• Review code for quality and consistency.
• Own the full development lifecycle in an Agile Scrum team.
• Create technical documentation for applications and deployments.
• Ship to production with CI/CD, monitoring, security practices.
• Implement AI integrations, including RAG pipelines.
