Job summary

Rose International is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build Java Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs for digital banking solutions in a hybrid Irving, TX environment. The role covers backend services, Angular front-end collaboration, and mobile integrations across iOS/Android with a strong emphasis on secure, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Java (Java 11/17+) and Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (JPA, Hibernate).
• Proficient in SQL query optimization, data modeling, and transaction management.
• Hands-on experience developing web applications using Angular (v12+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment concepts (Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain resilient RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate across frontend web (Angular) and mobile ecosystems to deliver cohesive digital journeys.
• Translate business requirements into technical design specifications with Product Owners and Domain SMEs.
• Deliver clean, modular code with TDD and automated tests.
• Ensure security standards (OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS) and transactional integrity are met.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical oversight and coordinate onshore/offshore teams.
