Job summary

Okemos, Michigan, FastTek Global seeks a Technical Analyst to support enterprise Java/J2EE applications, acting as the liaison between systems and end users. You will analyze issues and craft technical solutions to improve data integrity and service quality.

Responsibilities include resolving software/hardware/OS issues, researching solutions, and proposing process or system changes. Strong SQL and testing skills, plus experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot), and effective customer

Qualifications

Should be strong at analyzing Java/J2EE applications and resolving problems.
Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for code generation, debugging, and optimization.
Should be well versed with extracting data from databases by creating new, or altering existing, basic to complex SQL queries.
Expected to be familiar with testing processes to create and document test cases.
Good communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Provide support for software, hardware, and operating system issues, including researching, testing, and communicating potential solutions for clients.
Propose changes to system impacts and suggest alternatives. This may include changes to current processes, applications, file layouts, and web services.
