Job summary

Infosys is hiring for the EAIS unit in the United States. The Technology Consultant 2 role involves contributing to requirements, design, coding, testing, and deployment of enterprise integration projects using leading technologies like TIBCO, Vitria, webMethods, IBM WBI, and SAP NetWeaver.

You will participate in end-to-end SDLC across delivery and production support, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java-based backend development.
• Experience with Vert.x and reactive programming paradigms.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous processing and distributed systems.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features with focus on stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and suggest preventive strategies for reliability.
• Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
