Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to the requirements elicitation, software design, and iterative development of banking, wealth management, and insurance solutions. You will code, review, test, and deploy features while ensuring stability and quality across projects.

Ideal candidates have strong Core Java, J2EE, Spring (Boot and MVC), and Angular expertise, with willingness to relocate and travel as required. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• Relocation and/or travel to work/project location may be required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot sponsor now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications while maintaining stability.
• Conduct code reviews, modify codebase, and maintain repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for new software.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich knowledge base.
