Job summary

Infosys, a global technology services leader, seeks a Technology Consultant 1 in the US to contribute to banking and insurance tech projects. You will work on core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, and AngularJS in an agile setting, assisting with interviews, design discussions, coding, testing, and deployment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and hands-on development across the SDLC. Willingness to relocate/travel for client work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience may substitute for education.
• US work authorization required; relocation/travel may be needed for projects.
• Infosys cannot sponsor immigration for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews/workshops to capture user needs and document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions and aid in creating process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects for quality improvements.
• Support integration of new software features and transitions within the existing system.
• Monitor live applications and troubleshoot, creating documentation for maintenance.
• Document coding practices and testing methodologies to enrich team knowledge.
