Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a 12+ month contract with a Global Financial Institution in Pennington, NJ. The role centers on building cloud-native apps using React, Java/Spring Boot, and Oracle, designing microservices and REST APIs, and leveraging CI/CD pipelines to deliver secure software.

You will work autonomously within a cross-functional team, write automated tests, and apply enterprise security principles and entitlement models.

Qualifications

Experience with React frontend or Java/Spring Boot backend as core competency.
Proficiency with Oracle databases and SQL optimization.
Experience building, securing, and scaling microservices and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable applications spanning modern frontends (React) and backends (Java, Spring Boot, Oracle).
Develop high-performance REST APIs and microservices designed for cloud-native deployment.
Collaborate on cloud-native deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure workflows.
Utilize GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, refactor code, and improve velocity.
Write clean, maintainable code with automated unit tests to ensure test coverage.
Adhere to enterprise security principles, authentication, authorization, and entitlement models.
