Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack professional to join the Financial Services unit in New York. You will build and maintain full-stack applications using Core Java and Angular, including RESTful services and microservices, while ensuring code quality and smooth production support.

The role requires design, development, and testing across the full SDLC, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on scalable, robust software solutions in banking, wealth management, and insurance

Qualifications

• Experience as a Java Full stack - Core Java, Angular (v8+)
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java and Angular
• Experience in Java 8, REST, Spring boot
• Build backend services using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Experience in SOAP and RESTful web services.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing, and support activities
