Job description

Full Stack Developer needed with 3-5 years experience in Java, Node.js, and UI frameworks. Must have DevOps expertise and cloud computing knowledge. Experience with AI principles and RAG preferred. Position requires working second shift for US time zone overlap.

Key Responsibilities

1. Experience in Java, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, JSON, Open API specification.
2. Strong proficiency in Java, Node.js, MongoDB, SQL, and at least one UI framework.
3. Proven experience in designing and developing APIs.
4. Linux or UNIX development.
5. Strong experience with DevOps and Cloud computing - Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
6. Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Tower.
7. Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with relational databases, preferably Db2 for z/OS.
8. An interest in AI principles including prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) data transformations and vectors, etc.
9. Strong and independent analytics and problem-solving skills.
10. Experience with git, source control practices, and various development tools and IDEs.
11. Familiarity with Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies.
12. Strong documentation and communication skills to manage work items.
13. Ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

1. Experience with CI/CD methodologies such as Tekton or ArgoCD.
2. Knowledge of COBOL, Assembler, JCL, REXX, IBM IMS, PL/I is a plus.
3. Skilled at defining test strategies, including AI and non-AI solutions.
4. Experience in Generative AI strongly preferred.
5. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
6. Ability to work independently and interact directly with clients.
7. Availability to work in 2nd shift to overlap with US morning hours (until 1-2 pm EST).

Good to Have

• AngularJS, Vue.js, React.js, Data Analytics.
• Experience with healthcare EPIC EMR is a plus.
