As a Java Full Stack Developer supporting VY Systems in Columbus, Ohio, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of full-stack software development, API design, database integration, and performance optimization across client engagements. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise web applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks, building and securing robust RESTful APIs and distributed microservices architectures, crafting responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks, designing, querying, and optimizing relational SQL databases for maximum throughput, executing comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and code refactoring to ensure pristine software quality, collaborating closely with cross-functional product owners, UI/UX designers, and QA squads in Agile environments, conducting root-cause analysis for production bugs, performance bottlenecks, and system failures, and managing corp-to-corp (C2C) local engagement requirements.
