Job summary

VY Systems is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for an on-site Columbus project. You will design, develop, test, and scale enterprise apps using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks, delivering high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.

You will collaborate across product, UI/UX, and QA in Agile sprints, ensuring code quality, performance, and documentation while meeting tight delivery timelines and C2C local engagement requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE or related field.
• 6+ years in enterprise full-stack Java development.
• Hands-on Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot expertise.
• Front-end experience with Angular/React/JS.
• Designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• C2C contracting experience; local Columbus availability.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork in Agile.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack software design, development, and testing.
• Develop and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build responsive front-ends with HTML/CSS/JS.
• Query and optimize relational databases for performance.
• Conduct unit/integration tests and refactor code.
• Troubleshoot production issues and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and QA in Agile sprints.
• Maintain architecture docs and API contracts.
