Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to join our Westlake/Smithfield teams. You will develop enterprise web applications, modernize legacy systems, and deliver scalable APIs across environments.

Qualifications

  • 6–9 years of experience in full-stack Java development.
  • Experience with modern RESTful service architectures.
  • Proficiency in Angular-based UIs and backend collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise web applications utilizing Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular, and modern RESTful service architectures.
  • Support migration and modernization initiatives involving legacy applications, middleware upgrades, and platform transformation activities.
  • Build APIs, business services, and reusable components for customer-facing and internal capabilities.
  • Participate in modernization efforts by refactoring legacy code and implementing enterprise-standard design patterns.
  • Develop Angular-based user interfaces and collaborate with UX and business teams to improve customer experiences.
  • Support deployment, configuration, testing, and release activities across multiple environments.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis to improve stability and performance.
  • Execute software development using Agile methodologies and participate actively in sprint ceremonies and planning activities.
  • Follow CI/CD and DevOps standards to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior developers to implement scalable and secure application solutions.

Job Duties

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 61087 to 104364Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
