Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full stack developer for a Contract job with a client in Allen Park, MI(Hybrid). Must have strong Java/Spring Boot and GCP experience to develop and integrate scalable logistics solutions, while enhancing exception management and leading production deployments.

Rate Range: $66/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Full stack developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular or React).

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions on platforms like Google Cloud.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions aligned with business goals and agile methodologies.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., GitHub), and perform automated testing to ensure high code quality.

• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and support production issues across front-end and back-end components.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development, including backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (Angular, React, or similar).

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Tekton), GitHub version control, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, API integration, and messaging systems like Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, SAST/DAST tools (e.g., SonarQube), and Linux environments.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with global, cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $66.00 to $68.00 per hour
