Job summary

RevSpring is seeking a Software Engineer – ETL, Java to design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. You will collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and leaders to translate requirements into robust software solutions.

You’ll develop efficient ETL workflows, write clean code, perform thorough reviews, and ensure deployments are well-tested and sign-off by stakeholders. Strong Java and Python experience with GCP are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Java 11+ and Maven-based projects.
• 2+ years of Python experience.
• Hands-on experience with complex data pipelines and ETL processes.
• 2+ years with relational databases and SQL.
• Proficient with Git.
• 1+ year of GCP technologies: Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, GCloud CLI.
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Shell/Bash, and virtualization.
• Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and UML diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and leaders to translate requirements into data-centric software solutions.
• Develop scalable ETL and data processing pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize performance and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Keep up-to-date with data processing trends and apply them to products.
• Meet with stakeholders weekly to align priorities and requirements.
• Ensure new code deployment is tested and approved by stakeholders.
• Handle incoming support requests and errors within set timeframes and time zones.
