Job summary

TEEMA seeks an Intermediate to Senior Java Implementation Engineer for its healthcare technology team. This hands-on, client-facing role combines strong Java development with healthcare interoperability experience and leadership in technical implementations.

You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to design, configure, troubleshoot, and deliver scalable healthcare solutions, using HL7 v2 and/or FHIR standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development is required.
• Hands-on Java, Spring, REST, SQL, and Git experience.
• 3+ years delivering software solutions for customers.
• Professional HL7 v2 and/or FHIR experience.
• Experience in healthcare technology or healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers throughout technical implementation projects.
• Configure platforms, develop scripts, troubleshoot issues, design solutions.
• Provide technical and architectural guidance during implementations.
• Work with HL7 v2 and/or FHIR standards and healthcare teams.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues.
• Lead multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations as needed.
• Support RFIs and RFPs and stay current with industry practices.
