Job summary

Jobright.ai is seeking an entry-level Java Engineer to develop and maintain backend services, including APIs, database integrations, testing, and documentation. You will work with a small team to ship reliable code and learn modern backend practices.

As a newcomer, you will implement features under guidance, build API endpoints, validate inputs, and collaborate on code reviews and technical decisions to shape the service behavior and reliability.

Qualifications

• Foundational Java and OOP skills demonstrated through academic or internship projects.
• Understanding of data structures, HTTP APIs, and basic SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and a willingness to learn testing and maintainable service design.
