Job summary

Priceline is seeking a Software Engineer for its New York team. This role participates in critical projects shaping Priceline's technology and product roadmap, working in a cross-functional agile team.

You will develop backend systems using Core Java, SQL, and Spring Frameworks, building low-latency, high-throughput services with CI/testing. Cloud experience (GCP/AWS) and microservices are highly valued in this hybrid/2-days-in-office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
• Coding experience with Core Java or similar programming languages.
• Thorough SQL compositions skills for composing queries and analysis.
• Comfort and experience with Spring Frameworks, Web Services and APIs.
• Experience in Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker is a big positive.
• Experience with developing on Cloud, especially GCP and AWS.

Who you are:

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000 USD.
