vTech Solution in Washington, DC is seeking a Java Developer to support CURAM modules and non- CURAM components within NC FAST, focusing on Medicaid program operations. You will enhance communication-related components like templates, forms, and document generation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role involves UML modeling, XML/XSL transformations, SQL scripting, unit testing, and adherence to policy and technical standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Java EE development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, XML, XSD, XSLT, XSL-FO and SQL.
• Experience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, Altova tools, Apache FOP, and SQL scripting.
• Hands-on use of Eclipse and relational databases; version control experience.
• Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• JUnit and JMockit testing experience.
• Good oral and written communication for cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Perform UML modeling and XML configuration as part of solution design.
• Design, modify, and enhance XML/XSL-based notices, forms, data transformations, and outputs.
• Develop SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures for functionality and reporting.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with BAs, engineers, and QA to analyze data structures and requirements.
• Apply best practices to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to XML document generation and data processing.
