Java Developer (AWS or Azure) • Location: NYC, NY • Job type: Contract • Duration: Lon-term

Overall 12+ years of software engineering / development experience

More than 5 years of experience with REST APIs and backend systems

More than 5 years of experience with cloud AWS or Azure

Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum best practices

Responsibilities

• Participate in story grooming, story point estimation, identifying gaps and work allocation
• Ensure the stories are developed to meet the Acceptance Criteria as defined
• Support the User Story Definition of Ready and Done.
• Experience in wiring and executing Unit test cases
• Experience in code review, peer review of code and Sonarqube standards
• Provide technical guidance on automation, CI/CD pipeline, and general modernization.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Git Hub, Bit bar, Cloud architecture
• Provide technical guidance to the scrum team
• Experience with JSON, YAML and Open API Specifications

• 4 years of college degree in Computer Science or Engineering
