About The Role

We are seeking a Java Developer Advocate to grow SerpApi’s presence within the Java developer community. This role acts as a vital link between our engineering team and Java developers worldwide by creating valuable educational content, building example projects, maintaining the Java SDK, and engaging with the community through events and online platforms. This position offers a flexible remote work arrangement and the opportunity to influence the future of search data integration for Java developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a developer-focused strategy to expand SerpApi’s visibility in the Java ecosystem
• Create and deliver engaging educational content in various formats including blogs and videos
• Analyze customer interactions and product feedback to inform improvements and outreach efforts
• Identify and pursue sponsorship and partnership opportunities within relevant communities and events
• Engage directly with Java developers across platforms to drive user acquisition and support
• Enhance and maintain product documentation to improve developer experience and product adoption
• Explore and integrate no-code and low-code tools that complement SerpApi’s offerings
• Represent SerpApi at meetups, conferences, and hackathons, building relationships with the developer community
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency and solid experience in Java development
• Experience or interest in developer relations, community engagement, or digital marketing is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to create clear, compelling technical content
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment
• Familiarity with API development and SDK maintenance preferred
