Job summary

ICONMA is seeking a Java Developer for their Woonsocket, RI location (and Scottsdale, AZ). The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services with Java and Spring Boot, building RESTful APIs, and collaborating with product managers, QA, and DevOps.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 5+ years in J2EE, Spring, REST, and cloud experience (GCP/AWS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Strong J2EE.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and related Spring frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (Hibernate).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience designing, developing, deploying and operating scalable java microservices on cloud preferably on GCP.
• Preferred Skills: microservices architecture, Kafka/RabbitMQ, JUnit/Mockito, Agile/Scrum.
